Job Description

Join our Montreal-based R&D team as a Senior Embedded Firmware Tester & Security Specialist focusing on RFID/BLE technologies and penetration testing for electronic lock systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement security testing strategies for electronic locks and access control systems.
  • Conduct penetration testing, reverse engineering, and vulnerability assessments on embedded firmware.
  • Develop and automate security test cases using scripting languages and specialized testing tools.
  • Identify and mitigate threats such as unauthorized access, replay attacks, and buffer overflows.
  • Perform firmware analysis and validate integrity for embedded systems.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in security testing for embedded systems.
  • Strong knowledge of RFID/BLE security vulnerabilities and relevant mitigation techniques.
  • Proficient in C programming, with expertise in STM32, FreeRTOS, ARM Cortex-M, and Zephyr.
  • Background in firmware integrity validation and side-channel analysis.
