Join Laura Canada's team as an Assistant Fashion Designer to contribute to the success of the Laura and Melanie Lyne brands by researching trends, conceptualizing assortments, and ensuring timely delivery of stylish products.

Responsibilities

Achieve key financial objectives in the seasonal budget
Research trend-right fabrics, stylings, colors, and trims
Interpret trends and present to management
Conceptualize assortment and styles
Select desirable fabrics with Production Team
Collaborate with Production and Merchandising Teams
Review and confirm sketches for sampling
Attend fit sessions as required

Qualifications

Fashion Design diploma
3-5 years of experience in product development or fashion design
Experience with Adobe Illustrator
Fabric and trim knowledge
Strong knowledge of textiles
Import knowledge
Creative and detail oriented
