Job Description

Saltworks Technologies is seeking an Intermediate Chemical Process Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead the design of lithium concentration and refining plants while contributing to water recycling, waste reduction, and environmental protection.

Responsibilities

Lead the process design for lithium recovery and desalination plants
Contribute to product development and process optimization
Create and maintain PFDs, P&IDs, and mass balances
Develop control philosophies for system operations
Participate in PHA and HAZOP reviews
Engage in commissioning, operation, and troubleshooting
Analyze operational data for insights and recommendations
Mentor junior engineers

Qualifications

Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering
5-10 years of post-graduation experience
Experience with AutoCAD P&ID or similar software
Strong communication and analytical skills
Hands-on tooling and troubleshooting skills (asset)
