Job Description

Join Arista Networks, a leader in data-driven networking, and work on developing and maintaining the Linux kernel in EOS. Collaborate with a talented team to integrate new features and work with CPU vendors to enhance Arista products.

Responsibilities

Stay updated on Linux Kernel developments and identify features for product enhancement
Develop and maintain EOS Kernel features using C, C++, and Python
Work with hardware engineers to qualify new Kernel dependent components
Collaborate with the Kernel community to contribute features back to the mainline
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers

Qualifications

BS/MS/Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field
8+ years of experience with C programming
Strong troubleshooting skills in the Linux kernel
Familiarity with IP networking architecture and design
Experience with x86 and ARM CPU architectures
