Job Description

The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the farm, from efficiency to profitability, including productivity. They manage daily operations and develop strategies to optimize farm performance while adhering to industry quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on continuous improvement
  • Utilize lean production principles and tools to eliminate waste, optimize processes, reduce costs, and drive innovation
  • Oversee all production processes, safety, material coordination, labor, and equipment to achieve production goals
  • Define performance indicators
  • Coordinate with quality control to ensure all products undergo quality testing

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or related field
  • Over 10 years of experience in production operations management
  • Knowledge of production processes, quality systems, safety standards, compliance, and maintenance
  • Leadership experience with talent development skills
  • Strong communication skills in French and English
