Job Description

Join Vortex as a Cybersecurity Lead and be responsible for developing and executing the organization's cybersecurity strategy to safeguard systems, data, and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain a company-wide cybersecurity strategy aligned with business objectives.
Identify and assess cybersecurity risks through regular security assessments.
Lead incident detection and response efforts.
Establish and enforce cybersecurity policies in compliance with regulations.
Collaborate with IT and business units to embed security into workflows.
Oversee the deployment and management of cybersecurity tools.
Manage the implementation of data encryption and access controls.
Conduct internal awareness training to foster a security-first culture.
Lead vulnerability management programs.
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of cybersecurity programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
5+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity.
Experience with incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
Hands-on expertise in vulnerability scanning and penetration testing.
Proficiency with security tools and certifications such as CISSP.
Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.
