Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations within a specific area. The ideal candidate will lead a team, manage resources, and drive improvements in processes, quality, and safety while meeting production goals.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee production activities to ensure targets are met for safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
  • Manage day-to-day performance of production staff, including scheduling, monitoring attendance, and handling performance feedback.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to inventory, production delays, scrap, or rework by investigating root causes and implementing solutions.
  • Promote a safe and clean working environment through training, safety audits, and compliance with EH&S standards.
  • Support employee development through regular coaching, performance reviews, and training coordination.
  • Collaborate with other departments like Supply Chain and Engineering to support smooth operations and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of manufacturing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and business/inventory systems.
  • Organized, adaptable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
