Job Description

Join Novolecs, a world-class provider of power generation equipment, as a Mechanical Designer. Work on designing mechanical and electrical parts and assemblies in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct engineering projects in 3D and 2D software
Design detailed drawings of mechanical and electrical parts
Create jigs using machining techniques
Ensure compliance with technical and internal standards
Collaborate with engineers and make recommendations
Support production for designed projects
Perform design, drafting, and drawing modifications

Qualifications

DEC in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Minimum 5 years of relevant CAD design experience
Proficiency in SolidWorks, CREO, and AutoCAD
Good English language skills
Strong mechanical knowledge
Team player with analytical and problems-solving skills
Initiative, autonomy, and resourcefulness
Knowledge of electrical products (an asset)
Understanding of electrical power systems
