Job Description

Employezz is looking for a skilled Distributed Control System (DCS) Technician/Technologist to join our team. The role involves maintaining, designing, and installing controller system software for optimal plant performance.

Responsibilities

Maintain and troubleshoot various SCADA, DCS, and PLC systems
Support control system, monitoring and managing access to critical system resources
Repair, maintain, configure, and install controls and instrumentation equipment
Drive lifecycle management and planning for control system equipment
Provide troubleshooting support to operations teams
Participate in engineering projects as part of a multidisciplinary team
Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and industry standards

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in software engineering, instrumentation control, automation, electrical, or similar field
Minimum 5 years of experience working with and programming DCS, PLC systems
Experience in programming ABB 800xA and Allen Bradley PLCs
Familiarity with industrial networking and communication protocols
Understanding of process control and instrumentation
