Job Description

Join our team as an Addiction and Mental Health Worker for our Youth Housing program in London, Ontario. Help individuals experiencing mental health or addiction concerns achieve greater wellness and independence.

Responsibilities

Work with clients to motivate and support them in achieving their goals
Champion clients' capacity for independent community living
Assist clients in maintaining suitable housing
Facilitate resident meetings and provide health teaching
Implement crisis intervention and prevention strategies
Coach clients in activities of daily living
Advocate for clients to access community resources
Document client-related information effectively

Qualifications

College diploma in social science or related field
Experience in addiction and mental health field
Current Driver's Licence and access to a vehicle
Clear Police Vulnerable Sector Check
