Job Description

StackTeck Systems Limited is seeking an experienced Mold Design and Component Estimator to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for costing and processing customer quotes in a timely manner for the Sales Department.

Responsibilities

Create layouts and mold concepts in CAD for estimating purposes
Work closely with Sales team to develop profitable quotes
Prepare estimates of costs for manufacturing projects
Negotiate project costs with vendors and subcontractors
Communicate technical aspects of mold design to various teams
Identify and resolve manufacturing and costing issues

Qualifications

Post-Secondary education in Mechanical Engineering preferred
Minimum 5 years' experience in estimating within the Injection Mold Industry
Strong CAD design and machining practices knowledge
Proficiency in MS Excel
