Job Description

Metric Design is seeking a technically skilled, organized, and steady Interior Design Technologist with 3-5 years of experience to support our growing team.

Responsibilities

  • Produce complete construction drawings, floor plans, elevations, and details (AutoCAD required).
  • Model concepts and assist with visualizations in 3D Visualization programs.
  • Assist with residential and commercial permit drawing packages.
  • Prepare product and specification documents for client presentations.
  • Track delegated tasks, help organize deliverables, and support project timelines.
  • Coordinate supplier information and project materials under team direction.
  • Attend occasional site meetings and document as required.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Interior Design Technology, Architectural Technology, or related field.
  • 3-5 years' experience in a technical production role at a small design or architectural firm.
  • Strong AutoCAD skills.
  • Working knowledge of Canadian building codes (Saskatchewan preferred).
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong verbal and written communication.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Professional portfolio showcasing technical drawing work.
