Job Description

Join Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) as an AWS DevOps/BizOps Engineer to work on high-availability Ubuntu Linux production and development systems in a public cloud environment.

Responsibilities

Build, scale and support high-availability Ubuntu Linux systems in a public cloud environment.
Work with tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, and more for Infrastructure as Code.
Improve security and availability monitoring for services.
Deploy workloads to multiple cloud environments and manage core cloud services.
Build and maintain Kubernetes clusters and improve load balancing and service mesh.
Create quality documentation and use monitoring tools to identify and resolve issues.
Help troubleshoot and solve failures and performance problems.
Develop custom tools using Go, Python, or Bash.
Understand networking fundamentals and collaborate effectively within a team.

Qualifications

BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Strong skills in Linux or UNIX systems and related protocols/software.
Experience with provisioning tools like Ansible, Chef, or Terraform.
Proficiency in Go, Python, and Bash programming.
Knowledge of database systems such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
Experience with Containers and orchestration tools like Kubernetes, Mesos, or Docker Swarm.
Working knowledge of cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
