Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Senior Electrical Designer responsible for developing electrical control panel schematics for various projects. This role involves working from preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, and specification sheets to ensure successful design and implementation of electrical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project proposals, kick-offs, design reviews, and panel fabrication support
  • Mentor junior and intermediate members of the electrical design team
  • Oversee ePlan management software implementation

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years experience with ePlan Electric P8 (schematics)
  • 2-3 years experience with ePlan ProPanel
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • In-depth knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code
