Job Description

Judicio is a renowned law firm specializing in civil and commercial litigation, as well as business law. We are looking for an exceptional Legal Assistant in Litigation to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

Writing and reviewing legal correspondence and procedures
Notification/service of procedures
Rigorous management of court protocols and deadlines
Organizing and managing documentation efficiently
Regular communication with clients and judicial parties
Preparing document binders, procedures, and authorities
Opening and managing files, conflict of interest checks
Preparing and sending invoices to clients
Protecting confidential documents and information
Contributing to other legal, administrative, and marketing tasks

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years experience as a Legal Assistant in Litigation
Degree in legal techniques, legal secretarial, or equivalent
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong writing and organizational abilities
Fluency in French and English (an asset)
Professional interaction with stakeholders
Autonomous, professional, and resourceful
Knowledge of legal rules and procedures
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and ADOBE tools
Familiarity with Juris Evolution software (an asset)
Highly organized, capable of managing multiple files, meeting tight deadlines, and prioritizing tasks
Commissioner for Oaths status (an asset)
