Job Description

Baro RH is seeking an Administrative Assistant in Business Law for a position in Sherbrooke. This role is crucial for the smooth operation of the legal department, where you will be responsible for managing various administrative tasks and supporting lawyers in their daily work.

Responsibilities

  • Assist lawyers in preparing and following up on legal files
  • Manage schedules, organize meetings, and coordinate travel
  • Establish and maintain filing systems for legal documents
  • Monitor deadlines and important dates
  • Effectively communicate with clients and partners
  • Participate in creating reports and presentations for the department

Qualifications

  • Degree in administration, legal techniques, or equivalent field
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in an administrative role, preferably in a legal environment
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Fluency in French and English, both oral and written
  • Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office) and document management tools
  • Ability to work autonomously while integrating into a team
  • Professionalism, discretion, and strong interpersonal skills
