Job Description

Seeking a skilled Project Engineer with experience in managing capital projects within a manufacturing or industrial setting, particularly in the food or pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and execute capital projects related to equipment, machinery, and facility improvements.
  • Develop project scopes, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
  • Oversee design, procurement, installation, and commissioning phases.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external contractors for timely project delivery.
  • Manage contractor activities, site work, and construction safety.
  • Track project performance and report on progress, costs, and risks.
  • Support continuous improvement and plant optimization initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical or related discipline).
  • 2-3 years of experience in capital project engineering within manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Experience in the food or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
  • Strong project management skills and understanding of equipment design.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
