Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Controller to lead our accounting team in Montreal, QC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate accounting and a proven track record of financial excellence.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of property accountants
Prepare annual property budgets
Coordinate with auditors for reports
Review financial reports
Manage invoice payments
Ensure regulatory compliance
Oversee payroll and benefits
Monitor cash flow

Qualifications

10+ years of accounting experience
3+ years of leadership experience
Proficiency in Yardi software
CPA designation or related degree preferred
Strong communication skills
Experience in real estate industry
Bilingual in French and English
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
