Job Description

Fed Supply is a leading specialist in supply chain, logistics, transportation, and customer service, offering temporary and permanent jobs in the Greater Montreal Area. We are looking for a Production Planner to join a manufacturing client in the automotive industry in Boucherville.

Responsibilities

Manage the S&OP process
Coordinate with sales directors and marketing team to obtain sales forecasts
Maintain sales forecast database
Create and maintain production plan based on sales forecasts and firm orders
Ensure stock availability and update ERP system
Smooth production and communicate stock shortages
Produce and update production schedule considering constraints
Issue work orders on time
Monitor production discrepancies
Communicate schedule changes to stakeholders
Plan and schedule test requests

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Operations and Logistics Management or equivalent
3-5 years of experience in a similar role
Experience in manufacturing environment (an asset)
Theoretical and practical knowledge of supply chain and logistics
Problem-solving skills
Inventory management principles
Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems (Genius is a strong asset)
