Job Description

Valard Construction LP is seeking a Transmission Line Estimator to compile cost estimates primarily for overhead transmission lines projects. The Estimator will analyze quotes, assess required materials, labor, and equipment, and create budgets accordingly.

Responsibilities

Assemble estimates from various sources
Develop an understanding of estimating techniques
Review and validate outsourced estimates
Format estimates and incorporate historical data
Provide estimating input on projects
Attend project planning sessions
Interface and communicate effectively with team members and clients

Qualifications

B.Sc. degree in Engineering or related field
5-7 years of estimating experience
Knowledge of construction documents and costs
Proficient in MS Office
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work in a team environment
