JTS Mechanical Systems Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to process bi-weekly payroll and complete all facets of payroll duties. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and a great attitude to our team dynamic.
Participate in integration of new payroll system Payworks.
Process bi-weekly payroll for salary and hourly employees (100 employees).
Process adjustments, ROE's, T4's, remittances.
Maintain employee records in systems, ensuring all information is up to date.
Reconcile payroll accounts for accuracy monthly.
Ensuring compliance with federal and provincial legislation and regulations.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
Other administrative duties as assigned.
3 years processing payroll.
Experience in using accounting software such NetSuite an asset.
Payroll certificate (PCP).
Strong experience with Microsoft (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Mechanical Systems industry an asset.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Must be able to work 8 - 5pm, M - F.
