Job Description

Key member of our dedicated quality team responsible for managing production defects, driving corrective actions, and implementing quality improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Create and monitor field failure through proper dashboard using connected data and lead root cause investigation.
  • Present Monthly summary of yearly, monthly Top defects and related status of root cause analysis projects and resolution.
  • Champion problem solving and root cause analysis activities with-in DAS leading from field failures, building a consistent approach and method while working with the Continual Improvement Leader.
  • Lead all Customer and Supplier Root Cause investigation, working through a consistent and sustained Team approach.
  • Work with R&D Team as part of NPI process evaluating defects from fields and ensuring corrections are incorporated to new design.
  • Lead monthly field defect reviews with Quality, Operation, R&D and Service.
  • Manage the product non-conformance process, develop solutions with suppliers, and guide communication with Suppliers through supply chain.
  • Effectively complete 'other' tasks that may be assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor?s Degree with a minimum of 10 years? experience in quality, engineering and improvements.
  • Outstanding communication skills at all levels (written and verbal) both French and English.
  • Ability to work seamlessly across Multi functional teams.
  • Previous experience with manufacturing or product quality related data analytics such as process capabilities, SPC, pareto, or other related data.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 Quality Systems practices.
  • Experience with New Product design and engineering practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to travel to customer sites for investigation analysis, travel mostly Canada and US.
