Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in workflow automation platforms to join our team. This role will play a key part in designing and implementing workflow solutions, with a strong preference for Camunda as the platform of choice. Additionally, you will provide mentorship and technical guidance to a team of apprentice engineers at Aviso, fostering their growth and development.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement workflow automation solutions, with a focus on Camunda or similar platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business processes and optimize workflows.
  • Lead development efforts, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.
  • Provide mentorship and technical leadership to apprentice engineers, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize existing workflows to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in workflow automation and software engineering best practices.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on workflow automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Camunda or similar workflow automation platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or another backend programming language.
  • Experience with cloud-based architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
  • Proven ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
