Job Description

Employezz, a leading Canadian company based in British Columbia, is seeking a Hardware Engineering Manager to provide strategic and technical leadership in hardware development for building automation systems.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic and technical leadership in hardware development.
Guide the team in the application of advanced technology and engineering principles.
Ensure comprehensive documentation and accurate definition of all products.
Oversee technology research, investigations, and innovation.
Manage and mentor team members, including recruitment efforts.
Establish and manage the budget for the Hardware functional group.
Drive continuous improvement in development methodologies and tools.
Implement and maintain processes related to Design for Excellence (DFX).

Qualifications

Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering or equivalent experience.
Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation required.
Minimum 10 years of experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.
At least 3 years of proven managerial experience.
Strong interpersonal and technical communication skills.
Deep understanding of technical challenges and trends in hardware engineering.
