Job Description

Lactalis Canada is seeking a Site EHS Manager to provide leadership and oversight for the site, establishing a strong EHS culture of excellence. This role involves implementing and maintaining an EHS management system to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Implement and maintain an EHS management system based on ISO standards
Support safety leadership development and behavior-based programs
Manage EHS coordinators and interns as needed
Facilitate the site EHS management committee
Oversee incident reporting and investigation processes
Advise on CAPEX projects and ensure EHS aspects are integrated
Conduct periodic occupational health and safety audits
Provide guidance on wastewater treatment plant performance

Qualifications

University or college diploma in occupational health and safety or related field
7-10 years of experience in industrial EHS
Knowledge of ISO standards and health and safety regulations
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Technological proficiency in MS Office
Attention to detail and time management skills
