Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize month-end closing processes with the goal of reducing time-to-close
  • Develop and implement robust internal controls framework across all finance functions
  • Lead the comprehensive review of month-end reporting packages and standardize closing procedures
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting quality and timing
  • Manage tax compliance and develop planning strategies aimed at reducing effective tax rate
  • Lead technical accounting research for complex transactions
  • Support M&A activities
  • Create quantifiable efficiency gains in all reporting processes

Qualifications

  • CPA designation required with 7+ years of experience in financial reporting and controls
  • Strong knowledge of month-end close process optimization techniques
  • Experience implementing internal controls in complex organizations
  • Background in multi-entity financial consolidation and reporting
  • Experience with multi-jurisdictional tax planning and compliance
  • Strong project management and team leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting and/or taxation
  • Strategic vision and ability to lead transformation initiatives
  • Knowledge of NetSuite considered an asset
