Responsibilities
Design and optimize month-end closing processes with the goal of reducing time-to-close
Develop and implement robust internal controls framework across all finance functions
Lead the comprehensive review of month-end reporting packages and standardize closing procedures
Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting quality and timing
Manage tax compliance and develop planning strategies aimed at reducing effective tax rate
Lead technical accounting research for complex transactions
Support M&A activities
Create quantifiable efficiency gains in all reporting processes
Qualifications
CPA designation required with 7+ years of experience in financial reporting and controls
Strong knowledge of month-end close process optimization techniques
Experience implementing internal controls in complex organizations
Background in multi-entity financial consolidation and reporting
Experience with multi-jurisdictional tax planning and compliance
Strong project management and team leadership skills
Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting and/or taxation
Strategic vision and ability to lead transformation initiatives
Knowledge of NetSuite considered an asset
