Job Description

As a Senior Financial Analyst - Capital at Extendicare in Markham, Ontario, you will be responsible for managing the full cycle of capital accounting activities, including budgeting, forecasting, accurate and timely reporting, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Responsibilities

Serve as a subject matter expert for the company related to the capital process
Partner with Asset Management and Development team to track project budgets and forecasts
Manage the full accounting cycle for capital projects
Strengthen internal controls, refine capital processes, and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

3+ years of relevant post-graduate experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field
CPA designation
Strong knowledge of Excel and ERP systems
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
