Job Description

Ubisoft, a global leader in the video game and entertainment software industry, is currently seeking a full-time accountant for its Finance department. This role involves preparing financial statements for Canadian studios and working closely with the accounting team.

Responsibilities

Record journal entries, expense reclassifications, and adjustments as needed.
Perform account analyses and reconciliations in balance sheets and income statements.
Participate in month-end closing processes.
Produce monthly, semi-annual, annual financial statements and ad hoc financial reports.
Assist in producing monthly headquarters reporting (Hyperion Financial Management).
Handle interco billing and reconciliation between local tools and parent company tools.
Participate in the preparation of semi-annual and annual audit documents.
Participate in special projects as required.

Qualifications

Degree/certification in accounting or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting concepts.
Practical experience with large-scale financial systems (Peoplesoft, Oracle, SAP, etc.).
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience in a multi-company context.
Knowledge of Hyperion (HFM) is an asset.
Team player with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to meet deadlines within specified timelines.
Experience working with international parties and remote teams.
