Employezz is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Guidewire development for a contract position in Markham, ON. The candidate must have strong skills in Guidewire Billing Center, Guidewire Broker Bill, and be Guidewire Cloud certified.
- Review software requirements efficiently
- Build architectural diagrams / design documents
- Design screens, business rules, and workflow changes
- Write programs, configure / package / deploy software
- Establish and follow coding standards
- Debug and unit test the code
- Perform peer code reviews
- Mentor junior resources
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 10+ years experience in Guidewire Application Development
- Guidewire Cloud Certification required
- Proficiency in GOSU Language and configuration using Guidewire tools
- Experience with relational databases and SQL
- Expertise in designing Web APIs with REST/JSON
