Job Description

SGS is seeking a Senior Health and Safety Advisor to oversee safety practices and management on a construction site in Yorkton, Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and training to project managers and site employees
Conduct daily inspections and address unsafe conditions
Monitor safety statistics and trends
Participate in safety programs and meetings
Administer site-specific training and ensure incident reporting
Assist with incident investigations and emergency procedures

Qualifications

Post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety
CSO/NCSO designation an asset
Minimum 8 years of experience as an H&S advisor in construction
Knowledge of safety laws and standards
Strong communication and organizational skills
