Job Description

Temspec, a leading OEM in heating and cooling equipment, is seeking an Electrical Engineering Designer to join their team in Mississauga, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have experience in HVAC product manufacturing and creating electrical drawings for control panels.

Responsibilities

  • Create mechanical and electrical drawings for HVAC units using SolidWorks and AutoCAD Electrical
  • Coordinate work with designers, engineers, and operations teams
  • Prepare bill of materials (BOM) and ensure timely procurement of materials
  • Maintain product knowledge and provide technical support to various departments
  • Participate in new product development and ensure compliance with safety standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • 3-5 years of experience in creating electrical drawings for control panels
  • Proficiency in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks and AutoCAD Electrical
  • Knowledge of electrical codes, safety laws, and HVAC standards
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with MRP systems
