Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Calgary, Alberta. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing cutting-edge technologies for the oil and gas sector.

Responsibilities

  • Design mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks
  • Run FEA and CFD analysis for design considerations
  • Create 3D models, engineering drawings, and documentation
  • Support product development from concept to deployment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Ensure designs meet industry standards and safety regulations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of mechanical design experience in oil and gas
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and Microsoft programs
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and manufacturing practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • P.Eng designation or EIT registration in Alberta is an asset
  • Experience with ASME and API standards
