Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Metadata Lead to join our team in Toronto, ON. The ideal candidate will have expertise in metadata management principles and data governance.

Responsibilities

  • Expert knowledge of metadata management and data governance principles.
  • Lead the operationalization of metadata management.
  • Act as the point of contact for all metadata management efforts.
  • Lead the development of data models and taxonomies.
  • Build business glossary and technical data lineage.
  • Monitor and test functionalities through metadata audits.
  • Lead a team of metadata experts in critical deliverables.
  • Communicate technical details to business users.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience with Collibra, Purview, and Informatica.
  • Experience in data architecture or solutions architecture.
  • Protected B Clearance from the RCMP.
  • Collibra Ranger designation is a plus.
