Responsibilities

Supervise a team of technicians
Plan and manage capitalization plans and equipment installations
Ensure quality of internal services
Participate in product launch activities (APQP, Quality Gate, etc.)
Contribute to quality process improvements
Develop and enhance performance indicators (KPIs)
Apply problem-solving principles such as 8D, Ishikawa, 5why, Poka-yoke, etc.
Foster a quality culture throughout the organization

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical, metallurgical, industrial engineering or related field
OR Diploma in mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, quality control, manufacturing production or related field combined with 5 years of personnel management experience
Minimum of 6 years experience in manufacturing
Strong knowledge of ISO-9001 and IATF-16949 standards
Experience with core tools such as APQP, FMEA, PPAP, MSA, SPC
Statistical knowledge (Gage R@R, statistical capability, etc.)
Demonstrated leadership and decision-making autonomy
Analytical and synthesis skills in ambiguous contexts
Personnel management skills
Fluency in French and English
Problem-solving tools experience (8D, 5W, etc.)
Automotive quality experience is an asset
