Job Description

Join our dynamic team in Richmond Hill as a Collections Specialist. We are looking for individuals with strong negotiation skills and a positive attitude to work in our auto, banking, and government collections departments.

Responsibilities

Conduct inbound and outbound calls related to negotiating payments and updating customer information
Negotiate payment terms using critical thinking
Maintain compliance with policies and procedures
Accurately record all communication details
Proactively monitor accounts for collection opportunities
Identify cases for special handling according to company criteria
Maintain a clean work environment
Achieve collection goals

Qualifications

3+ years of collections experience
Strong negotiation and customer service skills
High energy and positive attitude
Detail-oriented and able to multitask
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Superior communication skills
Bilingualism is an asset
