Job Description

Join Brookfield Renewable, a leading renewable power company, as a Senior Accountant in Consolidations. Work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a focus on financial statement preparation and analysis.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and execute monthly consolidation and close process
Prepare supporting schedules and analysis for financial disclosures
Correspond with portfolio companies and other departments
Review quarterly accounting reports and provide feedback
Maintain internal control documentation for SOX compliance
Assist in integrating new assets/acquisitions
Support external auditors' requests
Identify issues and streamline processes
Perform ad-hoc analysis and special projects

Qualifications

Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Interpersonal skills to establish effective relationships
CPA designation from Canada or US
3-5 years of experience in public accounting
Advanced Excel skills
Knowledge of IFRS
Experience with accounting systems (OneStream)
