Job Description

Join our team as a Financial Controller to oversee the financial aspects of our real estate development projects. Manage financial planning, reporting, and analysis to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

Manage financial accounting for all real estate development projects
Ensure accurate and timely monthly financial and management reporting
Monitor project cash flows and coordinate with lenders for monthly draws
Maintain consistent accounting records and standards
Establish and maintain internal controls over accounting records
Assist with month-end bank reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements
Setup and maintain project accounting, billing, A/R, A/P, payroll, GL, WIP, etc.
Handle cash management, including receipts, payments, A/R collection, and A/P management
Ensure corporate and payroll tax compliance
Develop and maintain planning, budgeting, and reporting systems
Prepare and review external financial reporting
Improve reporting templates and data standardization

Qualifications

University degree in related discipline and CPA designation
Minimum 8 years related experience in real estate development and construction industries
Thorough understanding of accounting principles and functions
Experience with Accounting software like Microsoft Excel, Dynamics 365, and Quickbooks
Supervisory/Management experience
