Job Description

Join our client in the Edmonton area as a Payroll Administrator. This role involves handling full-cycle payroll for up to 200 employees, administering benefits, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Complete full-cycle payroll for up to 200 employees accurately and timely
  • Administer employee benefits and manage enrollments, changes, and terminations
  • Maintain and update employee records related to payroll, attendance, and benefits
  • Process ROEs, T4s, and year-end reporting
  • Ensure compliance with provincial and federal regulations
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits
  • Assist with audits and reporting as needed
  • Perform other payroll-related duties as required

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in a payroll-focused role
  • Strong knowledge of full-cycle payroll processes
  • Familiarity with payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Understanding of Canadian payroll legislation and compliance requirements
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
