Job Description

Join our team at Employezz and be part of major infrastructure projects such as bridges, roads, highways, tunnels, and more. We are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to work on exciting projects like the REM and Site C.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and promote Geotechnical Management Plan
  • Participate in budget and schedule establishment for geotechnical activities
  • Supervise risk and opportunity management related to design
  • Verify needs for additional investigations and coordinate procurement
  • Advise on construction methods and temporary geotechnical works
  • Supervise instrumentation and monitoring requirements
  • Participate in construction monitoring
  • Coordinate with subcontractors/specialists

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant geotechnical experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and/or Primavera P6
  • Knowledge of Autodesk suite is an asset
  • Experience with BIM platforms is a major asset
  • Bilingualism is an asset
  • Ability to travel within the greater Montreal area
