Responsibilities

Ensure compliance of installations with applicable standards and regulations for fixed machinery.
Monitor quality rules following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and compliance standards during operations.
Operate and monitor pressure vessels, steam boilers, chillers, air compressors, and other related equipment in accordance with provincial legislation on fixed machinery.
Supervise Building Management System (BMS) controlled systems to maintain optimal production conditions.
Maintain and repair systems related to the thermal plant (steam, condensate, compressed air, ventilation, purified water, etc.).
Contribute to site maintenance and improvement through optimal management of the thermal plant.
Operate as a control room or floor operator as needed.

Qualifications

Educational Degree: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Availability: Rotating 3-2-2-3 schedule (6am-6pm and 6pm-6am).
Certification: Recognized Mechanic of Fixed Machinery training by the ministry (certificate required).
MMF 2B or 2A license desired (Class 3 accepted).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in HVAC systems and other utility systems.
Knowledge in building energy management.
Ability to analyze BMS systems (Building Management System).
Familiarity with Siemens Desigo (an asset).
Additional: Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Bilingualism (French and English).
