Job Description

Seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to plan, develop, and execute tests against applications, participate in daily cross-functional SCRUMs, develop automated test cases, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and execute tests against applications
  • Participate in daily cross-functional SCRUMs
  • Develop automated test cases using in-house and third-party tools
  • Enhance existing testing framework
  • Implement automated solutions for regression, interoperability, stress, and latency testing
  • Work with developers on improving system testability and creating continuous testing environment
  • Create, document, and test procedures and tests
  • Formulate user interaction-centric test cases
  • Set up and maintain testing environments
  • Implement and perform change management procedures
  • Manage change management plans, team engagement, and communication
  • Participate in support and defect resolution process
  • Work with team based in ET time zone with a 6+ hours overlap

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in quality assurance, system development, and automated testing within financial services technology
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, Java
  • Experience with automation test frameworks and tools
  • Proficiency in using Copilot and other tools to build test cases
  • Knowledge of Playwright
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and demonstrates strong ownership of work
  • Good team player with willingness to participate and help others
  • Able to prioritize in fast-moving, high-pressure environment
