Job Description

Join a rapidly expanding auto dealership in Ontario as an Assistant Controller. This role is ideal for someone with 3 years of management accounting experience.

Responsibilities

Overseeing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing
Leading senior accountants in the preparation of financial statements and management reporting
Reviewing journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and adjustments
Participating in the continual improvement of internal controls
Analyzing financial statements, including budget to actual, TTM, and prior vs current periods
Leading external audits, preparing PBC lists and providing explanations for auditors
Mentoring and guiding junior team members

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree
3 years of management accounting experience
2 years of accounting experience with a leasing or automotive dealership
