Job Description

Join our team in Richmond Hill as a Collections Specialist. We are seeking dedicated individuals with strong negotiation and customer service skills to work in our auto, banking, and government collections departments.

Responsibilities

Conduct inbound and outbound calls related to negotiating payments and updating customer information
Negotiate payment terms using critical thinking and probing questions
Maintain compliance with policies and procedures
Accurately record all details of communications and activities
Proactively monitor accounts and locate pertinent information
Identify cases for special handling
Maintain a clean work environment
Ensure collection goals are met

Qualifications

3+ years of collections experience
High energy and positive attitude
Sound judgment and decision-making skills
Detail-oriented and organized
Proficient computer skills
Superior communication skills
Experience using third-party bank database systems an asset
Bilingualism an asset
