Job Description

Foote Law is seeking a Senior Criminal and Family Law Clerk to provide administrative support to lawyers, prepare legal documents, and liaise with clients and third parties.

Responsibilities

  • Open and close client files
  • Draft various legal documents
  • Prepare financial statements and orders
  • Schedule lawyers' calendars
  • Communicate with clients and opposing counsel
  • Manage physical and electronic client files
  • Answer phones

Qualifications

  • College diploma in a recognized law clerk program
  • Minimum 10+ years experience in criminal and family law
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CosmoLex
  • Experience with Legal Aid Online and Will Builder is a plus
