Job Description

Kusiar Project Services Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inspector Waterworks Construction to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on visual inspections, barge operations, and marine dredging activities, including bathymetric surveys in open water.

Responsibilities

Observing barge operations for marine dredging, trenching, and excavation projects, including bathymetric surveys.
Conducting advanced visual inspections to ensure adherence to engineering plans, safety regulations, and project specifications.
Inspecting and maintaining marine equipment safety logs, including barge operations in dynamic water environments and during bathymetric surveys.
Collaborating with contractors, consultants, and clients to meet project goals and maintain effective communication.
Training and mentoring junior team members to uphold high safety and operational standards during barge and open water activities.

Qualifications

A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in barge operations, dredging, trenching, and excavation on large bodies of open navigable water.
Strong knowledge of bathymetric survey techniques, including equipment setup, data collection, and analysis for marine projects.
Ability to work effectively in challenging open water environments, including on barges.
Physically capable of extended work on open water, including barges.
