Responsibilities

  • Provide technical management for process design activities for a new build Nuclear Power Plant project within a matrix organization.
  • Manage individuals and teams executing commercial and internal work packages throughout the design, procurement, and construction phases of the project.
  • Approve technical documents, plan and execute work consistent with quality, cost, and schedule requirements.
  • Forecast resource demands for the assigned work scope, including skills and capabilities.
  • Interact with customers and successfully deliver engineering products in accordance with specifications and contract requirements.
  • Build positive customer relationships.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited University.
  • Registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario, or eligible to obtain such registration within six (6) months of hiring.
  • Ten (10) years of process systems design experience in heavy industries.
  • Experience managing staff in a unionized work environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant ASME and CSA Codes and Standards.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
