Responsibilities

Provide technical management for process design activities for a new build Nuclear Power Plant project within a matrix organization.
Manage individuals and teams executing commercial and internal work packages throughout the design, procurement, and construction phases of the project.
Approve technical documents, plan and execute work consistent with quality, cost, and schedule requirements.
Forecast resource demands for the assigned work scope, including skills and capabilities.
Interact with customers and successfully deliver engineering products in accordance with specifications and contract requirements.
Build positive customer relationships.

Qualifications

Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited University.
Registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario, or eligible to obtain such registration within six (6) months of hiring.
Ten (10) years of process systems design experience in heavy industries.
Experience managing staff in a unionized work environment.
Thorough knowledge of relevant ASME and CSA Codes and Standards.
Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
