Job Description

As a Draftsman in Document Management, you will be at the core of our capitalizable projects, ensuring the quality, reliability, and accessibility of technical information. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, update drawings and files rigorously, and participate in the digital transformation of our documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Produce, update, and ensure the integrity of technical drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks).
  • Integrate technical modifications to plans based on annotations from various stakeholders.
  • Verify quality, compliance, and consistency of drawings received from external firms or internal partners.
  • Contribute to specific projects supporting operations, including collecting information on-site if needed.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and other teams to meet drawing and documentation needs.
  • Participate in structuring, organizing, and updating project-related document directories.
  • Integrate technical documents into digital systems (e.g. SAP - CMMS) for technical teams' accessibility.

Qualifications

  • Professional Studies Diploma (DEP) in Industrial Drafting or equivalent training and expertise.
  • Three (3) years of relevant experience in technical drawing and document management in an industrial environment.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, and SolidWorks.
  • Good experience in reading and interpreting multidisciplinary plans (mechanical, civil, electrical, instrumentation, etc.).
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license.
